Build a better world for women and girls
In five minutes, every guest's wish becomes a star. Together, they light up the Copenhagen night sky.
The idea
Guests scan the QR code and write a wish for women and girls
A star rises on the big screen and opens into a card showing the wish
As more wishes arrive, the northern lights fill the sky
At the end, all the stars gather into the houses of Nyhavn, Copenhagen
Every guest's wish becomes part of the final picture.
How it fits together
For guests
Opens after scanning the QR code. Guests type their name and wish, then tap send.
Shown to everyone
One computer runs this page on the projector. Wishes appear by themselves. No one needs to operate it.
For staff
Open it on a phone or computer to check wishes, wake the aurora and start the finale. A password is needed.

What guests see
Tip: to type in another language, guests can tap the 🌐 key on their phone keyboard.
The big screen runs by itself
What staff do
Brings out the northern lights. Press it when the host says "Let's wake the northern lights together." Press again (Fade the aurora) to hide it.
Forms the skyline. Press it when the host wraps up. All the stars gather into the Copenhagen houses. Press again (Return stars to the sky) to scatter them back.
Clears every wish. Use it only once, after the rehearsal and before guests arrive. It asks twice to confirm, and it cannot be undone.
On the day
The host asks everyone to take out their phones and scan the QR code on the big screen.
When wishes are pouring in and the room is buzzing, staff press Wake the aurora.
As the host wraps up, staff press Start finale and everyone watches the sky become Nyhavn.
The skyline stays up, with a caption showing how many wishes were shared.
Even with fewer than 600 wishes, the skyline will be complete.
The stars spread evenly along the outline, and a soft line of light fills the gaps when there are fewer of them.
For staff checking wishes
Go straight to the big screen. Nothing to do.
Wishes with rude words are held back and shown in a red box. Read it, then press Approve or Delete.
Find it under "Latest 20 on screen", press Remove, then ask the big screen computer to refresh once.
The control page updates every 4 seconds, so there is no need to keep refreshing it.
For staff running the big screen computer
If something goes wrong
Ask them to wait 15 seconds and try again, and check that the phone is online.
Press C to check the connection. If it's lost, press F5 to refresh. The stars will not disappear.
Press Remove on the control page, then refresh the big screen.
Check the password, and make sure you opened the link from zontaspirit.org.
No problem. The finale still draws the full skyline, and the caption shows the real number of wishes.
Check from the back row during the rehearsal. If it's hard to read, please report it so we can adjust it.

Practice wishes stay in the system. After the rehearsal, remember to press Delete all wishes.
