Going global

Acting with our partner clubs in southern Taiwan, all the way to the UN CSW71

From Taiwan eClub to the world

We act locally with our partner clubs in southern Taiwan, then bring that work to the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

Partner clubs in southern Taiwan

Sister club

Zonta Club of Taitung

Taitung leads locally; our eClub provides digital support.

  • Online digital and AI basics for the women and girls Taitung serves
  • Interview Taitung members about their service and share it in English through Share Your Story
  • A joint online meeting every six months
Sponsoring club

Zonta Club of Kaohsiung

The club that sponsored our charter, and a partner we keep learning from.

  • Senior members mentor our emerging leaders
  • Learn from Kaohsiung's experience sponsoring Z and Golden Z clubs
  • Our eClub offers tech support for online meetings and advocacy tools

Joint project for all three clubs: during the 16 Days we use the same advocacy tools, act locally, and combine our results in one report.

At the NGO CSW70 in-person parallel forum on strategies for midlife women returning to the workforce, we showed how role-play with the Reachy robot lets women rehearse workplace situations in a low-pressure setting.

  • No fear of mistakes: practice with a robot and simply try again
  • Practice anytime, at your own pace, without booking a partner
  • Rebuild confidence one rehearsal at a time

Our Mid-Autumn game, club song, story so far and bee stickers

Mid-Autumn game: Little Bee Flies to the Moon Palace

The Jade Rabbit wants to give Chang'e a box of osmanthus-honey mooncakes. Guide the little bee through four stages, gathering honey on the way to the Moon Palace, then press mooncakes with the rabbit.

Four stages

  1. Osmanthus GardenGather osmanthus and find your wing-flapping rhythm
  2. Moon Festival BBQ NightDodge the smoke and sparks, and look for pomelos
  3. Sea of Lantern CloudsClouds drift up and down; light lanterns to protect yourself
  4. Mooncakes at the Moon PalaceTap when the pointer reaches gold to press a perfect mooncake

The Zonta ideas in the game

  • The little beeThe Z on her cap and her mahogany-and-gold stripes come from Zonta's brand colors. She stands for every Zontian, and for the girls we serve.
  • Gathering honey drop by dropLike the strength women build step by step through education and economic empowerment.
  • Lantern shieldsSmoke and sparks are the obstacles women meet along the way. A lit lantern is someone standing with you, echoing Zonta Says NO to violence.
  • Reaching the moon, making mooncakes togetherFlying ever higher mirrors women rising into decision-making and leadership. Making mooncakes with the rabbit and challenging friends reflects Zonta's values of friendship and global community.

When you finish, share to LINE and challenge friends to earn three stars.
